Colour Theory

This session was all about understanding colour and how it can be used to our advantage as a designer. To begin with we just got all of our coloured items out on the table so we could see what we had. My groups colour was violet.

We then had to organise our violet items so that there was a smooth run from colour to colour around the table as the colours on either side of us were red and blue.

I went round the whole table and photographed it so we could see how this worked and document it.

We then worked with a partner and had to choose ten items to find the Pantone colour of. We did this using the pantone colour swatch booklets. I've also included a block of colour so its easier to view. (Pantone coated euro)
