Good is...the ipod evolution - studio workshop one.

We finally had to explain our reason for each of the statements we chose so there was an understanding of why we made that decision and maybe if it was the correct one.

What makes it good?
- The way there is a clear viewable change in technology.
Without the changes in the technology there would be nothing for me to base my project on due to the fact these changes are what creates the ipod evolution. A constant change in technology also means that there are likely to be less problems as there has been time to rectify any that came up.

Who would find it good?
- Music consumers.
With an ipod being a music player the type of audience is quite obvious in a sense. Most music consumers will own some kind of music player so they may find the ipod evolution quite interesting and especially if they own an ipod themselves.

Who wouldn't find it good?
- Haters of the Apple brand.
Consumers who have a dislike for Apple are never going to buy into the products and generally won't hold an interest in the ipod range.

What is it better than and why?
- Typical mp3 players because it has so much more to offer.
Ipods generally have a more sophisticated and 'cool' look about them. The consumer is buying into innovation rather than just a plain music player and an ipod is much more likely to last longer because you generally get what you pay for. An added bonus is that as the ipod evolution has moved on the ipods contain games, not something you usually find on your music player and is a good form of entertainment on long journeys.

If it was a profession it would be...
- A researcher.
This would be the perfect job title because for the ipod evolution to work there has had to have been a massive amount of research and experimenting gone into making the product work.

If it was a celebrity it would be...
- Michael Jackson.
He had changed both physically and musically over his life whilst he was alive and this fits with the fact the ipod has done the same thing. Each generation of the ipod tends to look different and the way your music can be accessed through the ipod also changes and in a way acts as the personality.

If it was a place where would it be?
- New York.
This place is somewhere that will constantly be changing, growing and attracting people just like the ipod evolution.

If it was an event it would be...
- Leeds Festival.
This is because this is something else that has grown and changed over the years, become different to fit with the present day and attracts a wide range of audiences.

If it was a product it would be...
- A transformer toy.
This is because it can still be recognised as a transformer even when it changes form. As the ipod changes it can also still be recognised due to key features and things such as the logo.
