After starting on the poster and flyer designs we came together with these ideas to see what we had come up with so far. During this meet we discussed the fact that a website could be useful to advertise and also this means people can record the things they do on the 'facebook free' day and they can be posted to this website. We decided to use various elements of each of the flyers that we'd come up with, these elements included a name for the day, a couple of tag lines and layout. The day will be called 'face to face' and so people know what its about we'll use 'a day without social networking' and 'go facebook free'.
The poster ideas work but we need a balance of male and female audience so we've decided to design two aimed at males and two females. We also decided that allocating people with certain jobs would balance our workload and mean our time is being used wisely so Marty and Sam are finalising posters, Chris is designing the website and Myself and Alex are finalising flyer design. We will meet up regularly to show our progress and discuss any improvements that could be made and also to make sure the group agree on designs and can have their input on everything.
