This was a generalisation of the idea I wanted to create down on paper.

General ideas (30 thumbnails) 

I liked the idea of having three different posters and keeping the whole thing quite simplistic so it was quite neat visually. All three posters have similarities so work well together. I've still kept the whole idea of 'opposites' because each genre of music is the complete opposite to the other. The font and the imagery together both represent the genre of music i'm trying to express. I made the imagery quite small as the final outcome is to be mainly typographical. The colours also communicate the genre of music so an obvious message is sent to the audience.
