I had my first tutorial with Phil to see if the briefs I had started are going in the right direction and also what improvements could be made. He gave me a few things to think about;
Tigerprint brief
- Lino print/cut
- Identify different markets
Off The Reel (illustrative type brief)
- Research films from the 40's, 50's and 60's
- Research iconic imagery and type.
- Find a quick system to develop quick tests with the type experimentation such as, 60 seconds per letter.
I also need to revisit my weekly plan because trying to do all my briefs at once definitely isn't working! We discussed having one running all the way through and then considering where the others will fit in one by one.
